Description
Food for special medical purposes hypercaloric and hyperproteic, formulated for the treatment of calorie-protein malnutrition of neoplastic patients. Thanks to the compact format it is suitable for patients who have difficulty consuming the recommended quantities.
To be used under medical control for dietary management of patients with malnutrition or at risk of malnutrition, with muscle depletion and:
- neoplasms;
- increased energy and protein requirements;
- pathological states where a restriction of liquids is necessary;
- pathologies associated with delayed gastric emptying or reduced gastric volume;
- in post-op phase;
- burns.
Sterilized UHT. No food.
Ingredients
Water, glucose syrup, protein milk, colza oil, sucrose, minerals (citrate of magnesium, potassium chloride, potassium citrate, ferrous sulphate, zinc sulphate, copper sulphate, manganese sulphate, sodium fluoride, chromium chloride, potassium iodite, sodium selenate, sodium molybdente.
Without gluten.
Nutritional characteristics
Mode of use
Shake well before use. Consume 1-3 bottles per day as a supplement, according to medical indication. Enjoy preferably cold.
Warnings
Use under medical control Do not use as the only source of nutrition. Indicated in children over 3 years. Not for parental use. Do not add drugs or other foods.
Conservation
Store in a dry place and away from heat sources.
Validity of whole packaging: nine months.
Once opened, store in the refrigerator and consume within 24 hours. The product used outside its packaging must be stored in closed container and consumed within 6 hours.
