Kaloidon
Description
Kaloidon is an advanced gel formulation that, thanks to its components, helps to improve the appearance of scars (hypertro scars that, skin thickenings and/or cheloids) secondary to surgical interventions or lesive insults of various nature.
The extract* of Allium cepa (church), with high content of quercetin and its glucosides (in guaranteed quantity greater than 10%), promotes the correct healing process, as well as reduce the redness and itching of the tissue in formation. The presence of lantoin contributes to the soothing effect, while low molecular weight hyaluronic acid and sulphate chondroitin support skin hydration and elasticity.
The phylnogen effect is guaranteed by the pullulano gel, a complex sugar of vegetable origin that, in addition to maintaining a siological hydration of the scar tissue, stimulates the skin renewal.
Kaloidon, moreover, for its formulative characteristics, facilitates an optimal massage of the scar. Since the first phases after removal of points it is important, in fact, to massage the scar daily in order to maintain the elastic tissues, to stimulate the blood circulation and to prevent the formation of adherences with the underlying tissues, which can negatively influence the functionality of the area concerned.
Mode of use
It is recommended to massage the skin with the movements below:
1. perform circular movements both on the scar and around it;
2. scroll with fingers parallel to the scar line in both directions;
3. move your fingers to zig-zag along the scar.
In the presence of particularly hardened tissues protract the massage for about 15 minutes repeating 4-5 times the various steps. On very thickened scars, Kaloidon can also be used in tablet.
Kaloidon must be used after removal of points on integral skin. Apply on clean and dry skin, two or more times a day, a quantity of product suitable for the area to be treated and massage until completely absorbed.
We recommend the use of Kaloidon continuously for at least 2 months on newly formed scars; on scars and cheloids already developed, the application can be extended up to 3-6 months.

Aqua, propylene glycol, pullulan, triethanolamine, alcohol, Allium cepa bulb extract, phenoxyethanol, carbomer, allantoin, sodium benzoate, glycosaminoglycans, tetrasodium EDTA, benzoic acid, sodium hyaluronate, dehydroacetic acid.
Warnings
The use of the product is contraindicated in case of proven hypersensitivity to the components. For external use. Don't swallow. Keep away from the reach of children. Do not use if the packaging is damaged (in the absence of the aluminium seal placed on the opening of the pipe).
Kaloidon is a transparent dark amber gel, any shade differences are attributable to the natural origin of the onion extract.
Conservation
Store in a cool and dry place and away from heat sources.
