Fleas act as intermediate guests for a common type of basket: dipylidium caninum. The basket infestation will turn again, if you do not carry out a control of intermediate guests, such as fleas, mice, etc. Special precautions for use in animals: the resistance of a parasite to a particular class of anti-elmintics can develop following the frequent use, repeated of an anti-elmintic of such class. To minimize the risk of re-infestation or new infestation, excrement must be collected and eliminated adequately for 24 hours after treatment. Special precautions to be adopted by the person administering the veterinary medicinal product to animals: in case of accidental ingestion, immediately turn to a doctor showing him the leaflet or label. For the purpose of good hygiene, those who administer the product directly to a dog or adding it to the dog's food must then wash their hands. Other precautions: since it contains praziquantel, the product is effective against Echinococcus spp. which are not present in all EU member states, but which are becoming more common in some. Echinococcosis is a risk for man. Since echinococcosis is a disease to be notified to the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE), specific guidelines on treatment, follow-up and human safeguard must be obtained from the relevant competent authority. Product doses 10 times recommended were tolerated by dogs and puppies without signs of adverse reactions. Main incompatibility: not relevant.Interactions
