During the treatment the animal does not lose vivacity or appetite.Conservation

In order to obtain effective control of the parasites the treatment should be carried out according to the results of the parasitic examination of the feces. The decision to use the veterinary medicinal product should be based on the confirmation of the parasitic species and the charge, or the risk of infestation according to its epidemiological characteristics, for each individual animal. The resistance of parasites to a particular class of anti-elmintics could develop as a result of the frequent and repeated use of an anti-elmintic of the same class. The non-necessary use of pesticides or a use that differs from the indications given in the Product Features Summary can increase the pressure of selection of the resistance and lead to a reduced effectiveness. In case of single infestation confirmed by baskets or nematodes, a monovalent product must be preferred, containing only one cestodicida or a nematodicida. It must be taken into account the possibility that other animals in the same environment may be a source of re-infestation from nematodes and cestodes, and these should be treated according to need with an appropriate veterinary medicinal product. In case of infestations from Dipylidium caninum, to prevent re-infestation, adequate control measures must be implemented on fleas acting as a carrier. Special precautions for safe use in target species: it is not necessary to administer purgans or to observe fasting to the animal during treatment; it's a good rule during the winters to give the animals lighter meals than usual. It is preferable to administer the veterinary medicinal product on an empty stomach and at the same time to little welcome food. During the treatment and also subsequently, it is necessary to carry out, especially in the barrels or in the farms, the appropriate operations of disinfestation of the premises in order to avoid re-infestations. Moreover, the chemical denaturation of the feces expelled from the subjects treated in order to stop the continuation of the parasitic cycle is also necessary. Special precautions to be taken by the person administering the veterinary medicinal product to animals: in case of accidental contact wash your hands thoroughly. People with a known hypersensitivity to Mebendazole and Praziquantel must administer the veterinary medicinal product with caution. Special precautions for environmental protection: not relevant. Excessive doses can cause vomiting, which appears for Mebendazole over 500 mg/kg in the dog and 300 mg/kg in the cat, for Praziquantel at 200 mg/kg in the dog. Main incompatibility: not relevant.Interactions
