Description
Eye drops for dry eyes.
Particularly suitable for the treatment of the dry eye, it gives relief from the sensations of burning and irritation caused by the eye dryness. Isomar Occhi Plus, thanks to its formulation, helps to soothe dry eye symptoms. Through the following actions:
1. osmoprotective: one of the main causes of eye dryness is the reduced or abnormal tear secretion caused by the alteration of the natural osmotic cellular balance. Isomar Occhi Plus contains the Isoeye Plus complex (Propylene Glycol, Erythritol, Betaine, L-Carnitine) that offers osmoprotective action, moisturizes and protects the epithelial cells of the cornea from potential cellular damage caused by hypersmolarity;
2. rehydrating: hypotonic sea water, distillate waters of cornflower, calendula, euprasia and extract of Maritime Cineraria favor the hydration of the eye surface;
3. lubricant: hyaluronic acid and ipromellose stabilize the lacrimal film, helping to maintain lubricated and hydrated the eye surface.
Isomar Eyes Plus gives relief in case of redness, irritation, burning, itching and feeling of foreign bodies and after tearing and fatigue induced by factors such as exposure to wind and solar rays, powders, pollen, smog, smoke, dry heat, climatized environments, prolonged stay in front of video screens and use of contact lenses.
Isomar Eye plus can be used in the presence of any type of contact lenses. For greater lubricant and soothing action, Isomar Occhi Plus is recommended before the lens is applied.
The medical device is intended for users without specialist knowledge, following the instructions provided by the manufacturer. The medical device is intended to be used in the home environment. All necessary information is provided to the user for correct and secure use of the device.
Mode of use
1-2 drops per eye every 4/5 hours. It is recommended to interspersal treatment cycles with suspensions of 7 days. Each cycle must not exceed 30 days of treatment.
For correct use of the product you must follow the following indications:
- open the package and to the first administration remove the seal of protection and remove the cap;
- lift the head and hold the flacony flipped over the eye;
- gently lower with a finger the lower eyelid and gradually increase the crushing force of the fingers on the bottle until you get a drop;
- instill 1-2 drops in the joint bag every 4-5 hours;
- close the eye for a few seconds;
- right after use close the bottle.
The solution can be reused within 6 months of the first opening. If necessary, the operation can be repeated in the other eye.
The cap used for Isomar Occhi Plus is specially designed to ensure the sterility of the product during use and optimal delivery, it is recommended not to press the closed bottle strongly to prevent the plug from getting out a few drops. It is possible that with the progressive exhaustion of the solution contained in the bottle it is necessary to apply a greater force.
Components
Purified water, sea water (20-26%)*, Jacobaea maritima extract (0,01%), Calendula officinalis flower water (0,1%), Centaurea cyanus flower water (0,1%), Helichrysum italicum flower water (0,1%), Euphrasia officinalis flower/leaf/stem water (0,001%), erythritol (0,15%), propylene glycol.

The medical device is not indicated for subjects with a known hypersensitivity to the components present in the formulation. Please read the information provided by the manufacturer before use. Do not exceed the recommended dose. Stop the treatment in case of occurrence of any unwanted effect. Do not use in conjunction with other topical treatments. Don't swallow. The product is intended solely for ophthalmic use. Do not pierce or tamper the package. Do not use the product if the packaging is open or damaged. Do not use after the expiry date. The expiry date refers to the product in a package that is integrated and stored correctly. The product is intended for adult patients. There are no specific data concerning the use of the product on pregnant children and women Keep out of sight and reach of children. It is recommended to thoroughly wash your hands before applying the solution and not to touch with your hands the tip of the dispenser. When administering the solution, it is recommended not to touch the joint membrane with the end of the bottle. For proper storage it is recommended to close the bottle at the end of each use. Do not disperse the bottle in the environment after use. In the event of a serious accident occurred in relation to the medical device, report immediately to the manufacturer and the Competent Authority of the Member State in which the accident occurred.
Conservation
Store inside the case, in a dry place, away from light and heat, at temperature between 5°C and 25°C.
