Descrizione Clinica
MD-SMALL JOINTS
Description
Medical device based on type I pig collagen to reduce pain and improve the mobility of small joints (hand, foot, ankle).
Mode of use
- Peri-articular: introduce the needle near the joint, parallel to the capsule plane, to a depth of 6-13 mm.
- intra-articular: introduce the needle perpendicularly to the skin in small joints.
CONSIGATIONS
Peri-articular: 26G x 13 mm needle.
Intra-muscular: needle 20G x 20 mm.
Note: perform accurate disinfection of the skin with hypopovidone or chlorhexidine.
TERAPEUTIC PROTOCOL
1-2 infiltrations per week to contain the physiological or pathological deterioration of small joints and ligaments. Already evident results from the third week but, depending on the patient's clinical situation, it is possible to continue treatment until the tenth week without risk.
Components
Collagen of suine origin, odorate violet, chloride sodium, injectable water.
Warnings
Hands, feet and small joints require differential diagnosis with primary neuralgies, post-traumatic algies, secondary algies with recent or previous bone fractures.
A slight redness in the injection area can be due to the mechanical effect of the needle or a skin reaction. The application may cause symptoms of burning/dollar in injection sites, which generally resolve within 5-10 minutes from the end of treatment.
Skin cleaning/disinfection is necessary before and after application. Any pyogenic bacteria could produce abscess in the injection area.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.
Do not use after expiry. The expiration date refers to the product in a package that is integrated and correctly preserved. Use the product immediately after opening.
Format
Pack of 5 and 10 bottles (2 ml each-volume removable).
