VAT
medigel
Mix of amino acids without leucine integrated with vitamins, minerals, selenium, taurine and carnitine, indicated for the dietary treatment in the child from the sixth month of life and in the adult with ascertained isovaleric aciduria.
Food for special medical purposes.
Ingredients
Saccarosio, corn starch, L-proline, glycine, L-lisina L-aspartato, thickener: modified starch; Glutamine, phosphate.
Mode of use
According to the doctor’s prescription, taking into account age, body weight and clinical conditions of the subject.
Medigel VAT can be assumed both as gel and as a drink.
To get a gel: pour the contents of a Medigel VAT envelope into a glass; if desired, flavor to taste; add about 30 ml of cold water; mix well for about 10 seconds; to get a creamy gel: leave to rest for about 2 minutes.
To get a drink: Pour the contents of a Medigel VAT envelope into a glass; if desired, flavor to taste; add about 80 ml of cold water; mix well for about 10 seconds; drink immediately.
Reconstituted Medigel VAT can be taken as well as such with a teaspoon or mixed with other permitted foods. For a better result, when possible, Medigel VAT should be prepared and consumed immediately.
Where necessary, the reconstituted and unused product can be stored 24 hours in the fridge and re-coated well before use.
The powder contained in an envelope, once opened, should be entirely consumed. Excess should be kept in the fridge and used within 24 hours.
Warnings
Medigel VAT must be used under medical control by subjects with proven isovalric aciduria.
Medigel VAT cannot be used as the only source of power. Keep away from the reach of children
Conservation
Store in a cool and dry place, sheltered from light and direct sources of heat.
The expiry date refers to the correctly stored product in a package.
