Mode of use
Insert or replace batteries
Remove the battery cover. Insert new batteries into the battery compartment, making sure the polarities are correct. Close the battery cover. Use only LR03 or AAA batteries.
When the battery indicator flashes on the display, replace the batteries.
Do not mix old and new batteries. It could reduce battery life or cause device malfunction.
Use only the specified batteries. The batteries supplied with the device serve to test the performance of the monitor and may have a lower life.
Replace the worn batteries with their polarity in the correct direction.
If you do not use the unit for a long time (about three months or more), remove the batteries.
Fixing the cuff to the arm
Wrap the bracelet around the top of the arm, about 2-3 cm above the elbow. Place the bracelet directly on the skin, since the garments can cause a weak wrist and consequent measurement error.
The constriction of the upper part of the arm, caused by the rounding of a sleeve of the shirt or shirt, can prevent accurate readings.
Fix the bracelet with the Velcro strip so that it is comfortable and not too stressful. Support the arm on the table (palm upwards) so that the bracelet is at the same height of the heart. Make sure the pipe is not bent.
Pressure measurement
For pressure measurement, sit comfortably without crossing your legs, hold feet resting on the floor. Stay still and silent while measuring.
Press the ON/ button/OFF, all icons are displayed for two seconds on the display, then switch to measurement and display "0" or last measurement record. Start measuring, the bracelet will automatically inflate. The sign of the heart will flash on the LED. To complete measurement, the results will appear on the display.
Measure blood pressure approximately at the same time every day.
Do not measure immediately after exercise or bath. Rest for twenty or thirty minutes before measuring.
Cleaning and maintenance
Clean the monitor with a soft and dry cloth. Do not use any cleaning solution.
Do not immerse the device or any component in the water.
Clean the bracelet after each use. Completely clean the inner side (in contact with the skin) of the bracelet with a soft cloth slightly moistened with 75% ethyl alcohol for three times. Replace the soft cloth after each pass. Then dry the bracelet.
Warnings
If you are taking medications, consult your doctor to determine the most appropriate time to measure blood pressure. Never change a prescribed medication without consulting your doctor first.
For people with irregular or unstable peripheral circulation problems due to diabetes, liver disease, arterial hardening, etc., there may be fluctuations in blood pressure values measured at the top of the arm compared to the wrist.
Measurements can be compromised if this device is used near TVs, microwave ovens, X-ray equipment, cell phones or other devices with strong electrical fields. To avoid such interference, use the monitor at a sufficient distance from such devices or turn them off.
Before use, wash your hands.
Do not measure on the arm that used simultaneously monitoring of the ME equipment, otherwise it could cause loss of functionality.
The batteries that have liquid on the surface or have been modified cannot be inserted in the products.
The short circuit of the battery must be avoided.
The battery life varies according to the ambient temperature and could be reduced to low temperatures.
Do not immerse the device or any of the components in water.
Do not expose the monitor to extremely hot or cold temperatures, humidity or direct sunlight.
Do not subject the monitor to severe impacts.
