Dietary food for special medical purposes.
Concentrated of high biological value protein, powdered, high solubility.
It is present in extremely soluble white powder and with a neutral taste that well fits to be used in every preparation that must be enriched in protein. The high solubility of the product allows the use also in artificial nutrition (noise-gaster or PEG).
It is indicated in pathological situations of severe protein deficit, insufficient food protein intake, protein malnutrition, increased needs associated with particular physical conditions and infectious processes in place, hyperprotetic diets, in the syndromes of mal absorption with organic decay.
Protein Up can also find a useful use to supplement the feeding of pregnant or breastfeeding women, in growing children, in convalescent patients, in elderly patients.

Proteins concentrated by calcium caseinate.

Without gluten.

Mode of use
The dose is strictly individual and according to different needs.
Follow the doctor's instructions for both quantities and methods of use.
Oral use: according to the indications of the doctor dissolve the amount of powder in a cold liquid or at room temperature and mix until complete solubilization.
This product can be stored in the fridge and consumed within 24 hours.
Use for probe and/or PEG: according to the doctor's instructions add the amount of powder to 500 - 1000 ml of water in relation to the patient's water requirements. The solution can be administered in bolo or continuously through a gastric nose probe or a PEG possibly even using a peristaltic pump.

Preparation
It is recommended to prepare the product at the time of use: pour the powder dose indicated in the preferred liquid, cold or at room temperature, and mix until obtaining a homogeneous solution.
If the preparation is stored in the refrigerator it can be consumed within 24 hours.
If it is stored at room temperature, it is recommended to consume it within 4 hours.

Warnings
Use under medical control.
Not suitable for use as the only source of nutrition.
For use in pediatric age, follow the instructions of the doctor.

Conservation
Store in a cool and dry place.
Close the jar well after use.
Consume within 8 weeks from the opening date.
