Description
Sterile eye drops.
Ophthalmic solution, sterile, isotonic, lipid based thanks to the presence of medium-chain triglycerides (MCT). Hyaluronate sodium (hydrophilic polymer) and iodine are also present. MCTs interact with the external lipid layer of the lacrimal film and form a protective film that hinders the hyperevaporation of the aqueous component of the lacrimal film, retains water and helps maintain the stable and hydrated eye surface. Hyodopovidone guarantees the sterility of the solution before and after opening the bottle.
Indicated as an adjuvant in the treatment of the eye surface in case of also recurrent infections. It can also be used in the preparation of the operating field.
Mode of use
Wash your hands thoroughly. Extract the bottle from the cardboard case and eliminate the plastic seal placed on the bottle neck. Unscrew the cap. With the non-dominant hand hold firm and support the head of the animal by tilting it slightly back. With the other hand hold the bottle vertically above the eye with the tip facing down. Instill 1 or 2 drops of solution in the eye to be treated, slightly crushing the plastic bottle and taking care not to touch the eye with the tip of the bottle. The recommended dosage is 1-2 drops in the eye to be treated 4/5 times a day or according to the advice of the veterinarian.
Warnings
Do not use the product if the packaging results, at the time of the first damaged or not perfectly closed opening.
Do not use the product in case of specific hypersensitivity to one of the components. Do not ingest the product.
Keep away from the reach of children.
Conservation
Keep away from light and heat sources.
Validity of whole packaging: 24 months.
Post-opening validation: 8 days.
