Descrizione Clinica
TERMOMETER
Description
The Chicco infrared auricular thermometer detects the temperature, from the timpane, in about 1 second providing a quick and accurate measurement. Reading temperature in °C or °F.
Thanks to the small probe, it does not cause discomfort during measurement.
The illuminated back screen allows you to view the body temperature even at night, without waking the child.
Functions
Automatic shutdown, fever indicator, measuring memory.
Measuring method: without contact.
Measurement site: ear canal.
Provided with practical cover.
Warnings
1. The infrared ear thermometer is a precision device, not allowing children to play. Be careful not to drop it from a high height, a fall could cause the sensor to relax, affecting the accuracy of temperature measurement.
2. The infrared ear thermometer should not be transported without packing to prevent mechanical vibrations from affecting temperature measurement accuracy.
3. If it is not used for a long time, remove the batteries and keep the device out of the reach of children. Otherwise, it could be dangerous. Moreover, if the battery is not used for a long time, it could cause malfunctions due to losses.
4. This product contains sensitive electronic components and should be kept away from environments with strong electromagnetic interference (such as cell phones, microwave ovens, etc.) to avoid a temporary impact on accuracy.
5. Please read the instruction manual carefully before use and confirm that the batteries are installed.
6. Do not disassemble, repair or change this device. It may cause errors in measurement results or device malfunction.
7. Keep the probe clean before and after use. When the sensor lens gets dirty, clean it gently with a dry and soft cloth or with a cotton stick. Do not clean it with other objects or blow the infrared sensor with your mouth. Otherwise, it could cause scratches or machine failures.
8. The materials of the application components of the device are certified for biological compatibility.
9. The patient can use the thermometer to carry out the measurement alone, or someone else can use the thermometer to measure the patient. In both cases, the methods of use and maintenance are the same.
10. All service and maintenance services must be performed before or after use.
11. The thermometer should not be assisted and maintained during use.
12. The patient can perform the measurement alone or can be performed by someone else using the thermometer. Patients can perform all maintenance
13. To measure the correct temperature value, 14. The temperature of the left and right ears of the same person is usually slightly different. It is better to always measure the same ear for comparison. 15. The results of measurements are only of reference and cannot replace the diagnosis of doctors. Some people have no fever when they are sick. If you feel bad, regardless of the measurement results, you should immediately consult a doctor. 16. Sleeping on one side can cause increased ear temperature. It is better to wait a few minutes before measuring. 17. The ear canal must be clean, since too much cerum can affect accuracy. 18. Do not attempt to measure when the device is wet, which can lead to inaccurate measurement results. 19. Do not measure body temperature within 30 minutes of exercise, bath or food consumption. At these times, body temperature is different from normal. 20. If there is a temperature difference between the storage site of the device and the measuring environment, leave the device in the operating environment for at least 30 minutes, otherwise the measurement results may have errors. 21. Do not use the thermometer if there is blood or discharge in the outer ear canal. 22. Use the untreated ear if drops or other medicines were given in the ear. 23. Patients with facial and/or ear deformity may not be able to measure temperature with the ear thermometer. 24. The complete occlusion of the ear canal due to the cerume can result in a lower temperature reading. 25. Due to the limited size of the label, the character is too small; please place it at a suitable point for viewing. 26. Do not inhale or ingest small parts. Pay attention to the preservation of the product to avoid damage caused by pets and parasites. 27. Do not leave the unattended thermometer near the children. Small objects can become dangers of suffocation. 28. If multiple measurements are required for the same person, remove the thermometer from the ear canal after each measurement and follow the measurement steps to repeat the test. 29. Limitation: the device cannot replace the rectal thermometer for rectal measurement. When measuring, make sure the probe is aligned with the timpane and in close contact with the ear canal.
Do not use the ear thermometer if there are inflammations in the ear canal. It is suggested to use the ear thermometer after recovery from surgery or trauma of the ear can.
Body temperature varies in different parts of the body and can be affected by ambient temperature and various factors.
Store in a safe place and away from the reach of children.
It's not a toy. Keep in a cool and dry place.
