diosmectalGo
Description
Medical device.
The main component of diosmectalGo is diosmectitis.
Diosmectite is a natural clay that helps to block and treat diarrhea and relieve abdominal pain.
It has been shown that:
- binds to toxins and germs and helps to eliminate them from the body - protects the intestinal tract and helps to repair intestinal damage. Diosmectitis provides effective relief and reduces symptoms associated with diarrhea.
Mode of use
DiosmectalGo is a ready to drink suspension indicated for:
- the treatment of acute diarrhea in adults and children aged 8 years;
Adults and children over 15 years: 2 sachets to start, followed by 1 sachet each soft evacuation, up to 6 sachets per day.
Children (from 8 to 15 years): 2 sachets to start, followed by 1 sachet each soft evacuation, up to 4 sachets per day.
An oral rehydrating solution (ORS) must be taken to relieve lost liquids due to diarrhea and to prevent dehydration.
Use diosmectalGo for up to 3 days. If the diarrhea lasts more than 3 days, consult your doctor.
Treatment of chronic diarrhea or abdominal pain in adults.
Up to 3 sachets a day.
Without medical advice you can use diosmectalGo for up to 2 weeks.
The contents of the bag can be ingested directly.
Components
Each bag contains 3g diosmectite.
Other components are: cocoa caramel taste, xanthan gum, sodium benzoate, hydrochloric acid, potassium sorbate, sucralose, purified water.
Warnings
Each bag should be used once only after opening it.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.
Do not hire if:
- is allergic to diosmectitis or any of the other components;
- is a child under the age of 8 with acute diarrhea;
- is a child with chronic diarrhea or abdominal pain.
Do not try to treat symptoms alone and quickly consult a doctor if:
- diarrhea is accompanied by high temperature, shivering or repeated vomiting;
- if you have signs of dehydration (if you feel very thirsty, has the dry language, is tired and has persistent appetite loss);
- feces contain blood or mucus;
- diarrhea is accompanied by sudden weight loss;
- diarrhea occurs during or after treatment with antibiotics;
- if you are aware of immunodeficiencies or are currently undergoing a treatment that suppresses the immune system (immune treatment or treatment for cancer);
- if you have recently returned from a trip to a tropical country.
The use of diosmectalGo is not recommended during pregnancy and nursing.
If you are pregnant or breast milk nursing, if you suspect or are planning a pregnancy, ask for advice to your doctor or pharmacist before taking diosmectalGO.
Conservation
DiosmectalGo should not be used after the expiration date that is reported on the package.
There is no particular condition of conservation for this medical device.
