Description
Compact, easy to use and lightweight aerosol for treating airway respiratory disorders, such as bronchial asthma, acute bronchitis, tracheitis, swelling and sore throat.
Mode of use
Remove the amp of the drug, clean it and disinfect it before use.
Infusion of the drug: open the lid of the amp and pour the drug inside the amp. Refer to the figure below.
Close the lid of the amp.
Insert the amp of the drug into the main unit.
Mount the mask (mouth).
Turn on the device: hold the button "ON/OFF" for more than 1 second, then the green light will light up and the device will start the nebulization.
Change of mode: the device has two working modes: level I and level II. Level I is the high speed nebulization mode, level II is the low speed nebulization mode. The patient can switch from level I/II by briefly pressing the ON/ button/ OFF according to treatment requirements.
Inhalation: Hold the device in your hand, wear the mask or the mouthpiece, inhale 4. breathing slowly and deeply the nebulized drug.
Turn off: press the ON/ button long/OFF, after 1 second the device stops nebulizing and turns off.
Cleaning and disinfection
Remove the amp of the drug and accessories from the main drive.
Open the lid of the amp and eliminate the residual drug.
Add an ethanol solution to 75% in the ampolla of the drug, close the lid of the amp and leave to act for at least 10 minutes; it is possible to shake gently for a better disinfection.
Dip the accessories to disinfect in a container together with an ethanol solution, and close the container. Immerse in the 75% ethanol solution for at least 10 minutes.
Download the disinfectant in the amp of the drug, extract the accessories from the disinfectant, then rinse multiple times the amp and accessories with clean water.
Fill the amp of the drug with clean water, insert it into the main drive and leave the device in operation for 10 minutes to clean the nebulization membrane.
Use a gauze for medical use at the end of cleaning to absorb water and dry completely.
Clean the surface of the main unit with a funnel of alcohol for medical use at 75%, then dry with a soft and clean cloth or let dry air.
Once all the above operations have been completed, store the main unit, the amp of the drug and accessories in a dry and clean place.
The nebulization membrane is a consumer-friendly component; the average life of the aerosol is about six months (considered three daily uses of 20 minutes each). Its useful life depends on the use, medication and cleaning to which it is subject. If the device works but the nebulization does not occur or is insufficient, quickly replace the amp of the drug. (Contact the distributor to buy ampoules of the drug).
Warnings
On the cover of the amp of the drug there is a hole for the air not to be covered to ensure a normal nebulization.
During use, hold the device and do not shake it strongly.
After pressing the ON/ button/OFF, the device will have a short start period (within 1s), then it will run the nebulization.
When the drug is about to end, it is recommended to slightly tilt the device to the user (the side button is closer to the user) so that the remaining solution can get in touch with the nebulizing foil for nebulization.
Due to the different characteristics of the drugs, the device may not automatically turn off when some medications are exhausted, so the user must shut down the device manually to protect the nebulization sheet from any damage.
If the amp does not contain drugs or other liquids, the device will automatically turn off. After automatic shutdown, it is normal to find some medicine inside the amp.
The duration of each inhalation must not exceed 20 minutes; in case of disturbances during use, immediately turn off the device and consult a doctor promptly.
When cleaning and disinfection, turn off the device and do not connect it to the power grid.
Do not use purified or distilled water for nebulization.
Do not boil the amp of the drug and accessories for disinfection, otherwise the parts may deform. Do not dry the parts in microwave.
The disinfected parts with the disinfectant must be completely clean, otherwise the residual disinfectant may cause a worsening of the symptoms.
