Description
OtoFen DOLORE Gocce Otological is a medical device, whose action is based on the osmotic properties of glycerol. The main ingredient of OtoFen DOLORE Gocce Otologica is glycerol. The glycerol used in the ear drops has two main features:
1. the oily consistency of glycerol, makes it adhere gently to the skin at the point of application and is responsible for its protective properties;
2. glycerol hygroscopicity, administered by topical means, allows the removal of water held in the tissues (osmotic effect), reducing swelling and thus alleviating pain.
glycerol contained in the medical device softens the cerume, facilitates its expulsion and, due to its ability to absorb water, removes excess liquids (osmotic effect), favoring the elimination of disorders that occur in inflammation confiscations such as pain and swelling in the ear. Mode of use
1. Wash your hands and unscrew the bottle cap.
2. Tilt your head or lie on one side so that the treated ear is facing upwards.
3. Gently pull the ear lobe (at the bottom of the ear canal) away from the neck.
4. Turn the OtoFen DOLORE bottle Othological drops without the cap and press on both sides by tapping 2 drops of product in the ear.
5. Keep your head tilted for a few minutes so that the drops can flow into the ear canal.
6. Remove excess liquid with a clean handkerchief.
7. After application, it is recommended to close the external ear canal with a cotton ball.
8. Reposition the cap.
Adults and children over the age of 12. If there are no improvements or worsening after 3 days, consult your doctor.
Children over 6 months: 2 drops in each ear up to three times a day. Use only under the supervision of an adult or a doctor. If there are no improvements or worsening after 3 days, consult your doctor or pediatrician.
Warnings
Do not use OtoFen DOLORE Othological Drops:
- if the package has been damaged;
- if the timpane is damaged (e.g., chronic otititis);
- OtoFen DOLORE Othological drops should only be used after a thorough otoscopic examination by the doctor;
- if an allergy to one of the components of the product was previously found;
- if the expiry date printed on the package has been exceeded;
- if the patient has just undergone surgery or an ear surgery;
- children under 6 months;
- in case of prolonged pain or swelling caused by inflammatory conditions of bacterial or fungal origin, such disorders require medical consultation;
- in case of otorhea or ear leaks.
Do not apply OtoFen DOLORE Othological Drops in the ear if you wear hearing aids, OtoFen DOLORE Othological Drops should be applied an hour before inserting the hearing aid into the external ear can.
Only for external use. Avoid contact with mucous membranes of eyes, mouth, throat and nose.
Conservation
Store in a dry place, at a temperature between 15 °C and 25 °C and in a vertical position, in place protected by direct sunlight.
Store in place protected by frost, do not store in the refrigerator.
Post-opening validation: 1 month.
