Description
Medical device to be used with NovaLife 2 Bags for Colostomia, ileostomia and urostomia.
The barrier consists of 2 layers: the primary layer in contact with the peristomal area is designed to ensure a buffer effect of the pH, erosion resistance and skin-friendly properties, the secondary layer is designed to protect the underlying layer.
The oval-shaped plate with 6 mm of convexity at the centre and invitation hole for the centre cut, has the following characteristics:
- hydrocolloid TRE;
- Protective barrier with differentiated thickness (declining from the center to the edges) to facilitate flexibility and adaptability to the contours of the body;
- semotive flange to allow a-traumatic application without pressure on the abdomen and ensure freedom of movement.

Mode of use
It is recommended to keep the plaque in place from 48 to 72 hours.

Components
The hydrocolloidal plate consists of:
- first layer: polyisobutilene, polymer thickeners, isoprene ironene, polyethylene;
- second layer: polyisobtainene, pectin, carbossimetil-cellulose, isoprene ironene, polyethylene;
- transparent and writeable polyester protection film;
- Ring for attaching to the PE bag;
- Plate support in breathable synthesis material EMA;
- Semotive flange in PE;
- White/transparent convex insert composed of ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer.

Store in a cool and dry place away from direct sunlight.
