Ophthalmic lubricating gel
Description
Ophthalmic lubricating gel, to be used even during diagnostic tests with Goniosciolio.
The carbomer has mucus-adhesive properties and lubricates the eye, uniformly covering the corneal and conjunctival surfaces while maintaining the comfortable ocular surface.
Altial gel is indicated to relieve symptoms of dryness, discomfort, feeling of foreign body and minor irritation caused by dry eye syndrome, providing long relief.
During the diagnostic exams, it can also be used as a pair gel to maintain the shape of the cornea and minimize the refraction between the patient's eye and the multi-mirror prism of the gonioscope, during the acquisition of images with this instrument.
How to use
Remove the tube cap, tilt the head backwards and lower the lower eyelid of the eye with the index finger to form a lot.
Press the product slowly until a small drop is formed at the end of the tube and spread it evenly inside the eyelid.
Beat the eyelids two or three times to spread the gel uniformly in the eye and clean the excess gel around the eyelids.
Be sure to close the tube.
Instill a drop of product in the eyes 3-4 times a day or depending on the need.
Components
Carbomer 0.2% (P / V), cetrimide, sorbitol, sodium hydroxide, heditable disodium, water for injection preparations.
Warnings
Do not use if the tube or safety seal is damaged.
Do not use in case of a note incompatibility towards any component of the product.
Do not use after the expiration date shown on the package.
Do not touch the eye with the tip of the tube.
Close the tube after using the product.
Do not use contact lenses during product instillation: after administration it is necessary to wait for at least 30 minutes before their insertion.
In rare cases, after administration, a temporary visual blur due to gel viscosity may occur.
It is therefore advisable to wait a few seconds before undertaking any activity that requires visual clarity.
In the event of concomitant use of Altial Gel with another ophthalmic product it is necessary to wait at least 15 minutes between the instillation of the two products and Altial Gel must be the last instiled product.
Keep out of sight and reach of children.
The product is only for external ophthalmic use.
