Description
Medical device.
Symptomatic treatment of constipation. It favors peristalsis, helping to have adequate intestinal evacuation, thus contrasting constipation and preventing the formation of fececalomas.
The Macrogol is a high-molecular hydrosoluble inert polymer that has the ability to bind themselves to the water used for recruitment, holding it back into the stool. Determines a rehydration and softening of fecal mass and facilitates evacuation. Accelerate intestinal transit, favoring peristalsi. It is not absorbed or metabolized in the gastro-intestinal tract and does not lead to hydro-electrolytic imbalance, if taken with the indicated dose of liquid.
Suitable for diabetics.
Without sugar.
How to use
Suitable for adults and children over 12 years old:
- from 2 to 10 measuring measures per day.
The dose must be increased or decreased, depending on the individual response to treatment, so as to allow a regular evacuation of soft stools.
The maximum needed dose does not normally exceed the 10 measures a day.
Dissolve the dust in water or other liquid (50 ml for each measuring cup) and take immediately. It is advisable to administer the product in the morning, if the minimum dose (2 measles per day) should be taken. For greater doses, divide the recruitment between morning and evening.
If no improvement should be noted after 7 days of treatment, consult your doctor.

Warnings
It is advisable to use the product in pediatric age after consulting your doctor.
Administration in children must be carried out under direct control of an adult.
Consult your doctor before use in pregnancy and lactation.

The product can reduce time to stay in the intestine and therefore absorption of medicines for oral use. It is therefore advisable to consult your doctor in case of contemporary recruitment of medicines for oral use, which must in any case be given at a distance of at least 2 hours.
The product can lead to a potential effect of interaction when used with amid-based diets. The Macrogol contrasts the thickening effect of starch, liquefiting preparations that should instead remain dense to allow for people with people with swallowing problems.

Some gastro-intestinal disorders (belly, flatulence, abdominal swelling, nausea and fecal incontinence) may occur.
Diarrhea is a secondary effect to the intake of excessive doses of normal Macrogol 4000 - and is avoided by decreasing the assumption dose.
Cases of hypersensitivity reactions (skin rash) have rarely been reported following the use of products containing macrogol. In case, suspend the treatment and consult your doctor.
