Description
Substitute for the synovial liquid which, thanks to its viscoolastic and lubricant properties, promotes the restoration of the technological conditions of the altered joints in patients with degenerative osteoarthritis. The product, improving the characteristics of the synovial fluid, has a protective action on the joints with consequent improvement of joint function and reduction of painful symptoms. Focusial intra M acts only at the articulation level in which it is injected, without exercising any systemic action.
Injectable sterile gel, biodegradable and isotonic, for intra-articular use. Focusial intra M consists of a medium-sized hyaluronic acid, produced by fair sterteptococcus bacteria, formulated to a concentration of 20 mg / ml in a physiological buffer. Focusial Intra M is characterized by viscoelastic properties, therefore it allows to favor the normalization of the viscosity of the synovial fluid present in the intra-articular cavity.
How to use
Remove any joint payment before injecting Focusial Intra M.
Remove the protective syringe cap paying particular attention to avoid contact with the opening. Screw the diameter needle firmly entered between 18-22 g to the Luer type closing collar following the indications below. Before injection, treat the site with adequate disinfectant. Inject Focusial intra M adopting a aseptic technique. Inject only in the intra-articular cavity. The use of intra f focus is at the discretion of the doctor. Focusial intra M must be used according to the needs of individual patients, from the area and the pathology to be treated.
A. Carefully unscrew the hood from the tip of the syringe, paying particular attention to avoid contact with the opening.
B. Gently grasp the protection of the needle and mount the needle on the Luer-Lock attack, tightening firmly until you feel a slight back pressure to ensure a watertight seal and prevent the gel leakage during administration.
Components
Hyluronate sodium 20 mg / ml, sodium chloride, sodium monobasic phosphate biydrate, sodium dodecyhydrate bibasic phosphate, water for injections.
Warnings
Focusial intra M is indicated only for intra-articular injections and must be used exclusively by doctors who possess specific training in intra-articular injection technique. Before use, check the integrity of the syringe and the expiration date. Do not use needles other than those indicated. The product must not be injected in presenting an infected or severely inflamed joint. The infiltration must be avoided in the event of infected infections or inflammatory conditions the articulation and to resume normal activities after a few days.
The exterior of the syringe is not sterile.
Focusial Intra M has not been tested in pregnant women or lactating for which use in these cases is not recommended. It should not be used in patients under 18 years of age. Being a disposable product, quality and sterility are guaranteed only if the syringe is sealed at the origin. Any residue must therefore be disposed of and not reused even after a new sterilization. Do not use the product if the packaging is already open or damaged. After use, dispose of the syringe in suitable container according to the current legislation. Keep out of reach of children.
