Candidiasis is a vaginal infection with fungi of the genus candida (of which candida albicans is the most common). Under normal conditions the candida is present in the vaginal ecosystem in balance with other species. In particular conditions (reduction of immune defenses, antibiotics and cortisonic therapies, poor supply of vitamins and/or rich in sugars and carbohydrates, stress, use of oral contraceptives, underwear too narrow and/or synthetic) these mushrooms replicate in an excessive way going to alter the balance between the species of the vaginal flora and leading to development of candidiasis. To combat candidiasis it is useful to restore the balance between the species by bringing the vaginal pH to optimal values, thus creating an environment hostile to the proliferation of the mycetes.
Indicated in the coadjuvant treatment of vaginal mycosis. It carries out a rebalancing and normalizing action of the vaginal pH useful to counteract the colonization of pathogenic agents. Moreover, thanks to its soothing action, it attenuates the annoying sensations of itching and burning.
Ingredients
Semi-synthetic glycerides, boric acid, silica dimethyl sililate, bisabole, vitamin E acetate, lactic acid.
How to use
Take the egg by pulling the two wings of the precut blister and insert it deeply into the vagina. Wash your hands before and after using your medical device.
Use an ovum per day, preferably in the evening before bedtime, or second prescription.
Warnings
Do not use in case of individual hypersensitivity towards one of the components of the product, pregnant and breastfeeding (in such circumstances you should consult your physician).
Special precautions are not required in case you use tools, machines or vehicles.
There are no known interactions with other products, so it is advisable to consult your doctor before using the product in association with other medical devices or vaginal medicines.
The use, especially if prolonged, of all products for topical use could give rise to phenomena of sensitization. In this case stop treatment and consult your doctor to establish suitable therapy. If there were any other side effects, please inform your physician or pharmacist.
Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes. Don't swallow.
The expiry date refers to the product in intact packaging, properly preserved. Do not use it beyond the expiry date or if the package is open or damaged. Medical devices should not be thrown into waste water and household waste; ask the pharmacist how to eliminate unused medical devices. This will help protect the environment.
Conservation
Store your medical device away from light and heat, preferably at a temperature between 4°C and 25°C.
