Specifically formulated food composed of a mixture of amino acids and glycomacropeptide (GMP) with low phenylalanine content to contribute to the protein needs of patients with phenylchetonuria.

How to use
The amount of formula and dilution should be determined by the doctor, and depend on age, weight and conditions of the patient's clinihe.
Recommended dilution: 12.5 g of dust (a sachet) reconstituted with 180/240 ml of water or flavored beverage. This dilution and quantity of product can be adapted based on individual tastes and tolerance, under the supervision of the doctor. Keeps you to take the product with water or other beverages to ensure adequate liquid intake.

Warnings
Do not administer by parenteral. Use exclusively under medical control. Not suitable as the only source of nourishment. Not suitable for subjects with vaccine milk allergy. Suitable for patients from 3 years of age. Due to the presence of phenylalanine in the product use carefully in children between 3 and 6 years of age. It can result in health risks if consumed by people not affected by the disease. Due to the high levels some product minerals, the doctor will evaluate, when appropriate, the execution of a nutritional follow-up (including anthrometer nutritional monitoring) and specific examinations. GMP-based protein substitutes are a natural source of phenylalanine.
This product should not be used as the only source of protein, but must be integrated with natural proteins and other nuts to meet the needs of phenylalanine, liquids and general nutrition of the patient in the quantities prescribed by the doctor. The diet where to be integrated with an adequate source of vitamins, minerals and trace elements to meet the daily nutritional needs of the patient.
