Podalux II
Description
Class I CE medical device (Dir 93/42 / EEC). Non-sterile.
Post-operative shoe with variable rigidity. For alluxe valgus.
Removable patented rigid plate for solidity and support for the arch. The slab can vary from rigid to semi-rigid, based on post-operative rehabilitation protocols. Heel protection and ankle stability, to reduce the load on the forefoot. Non-slip oscillating sole for further foot and ankle stability during walking. Wide form of the forefoot: the front edge repairs your fingers for greater protection and you can trim in case of need. Full contact under your fingers that reduces its curling and improves balance. Breathable microtoricle lining and ankle padding. Tear closure easy to wear and adjust. Removable additional band for bulky bandages. Removable mask for fingers cover (included). Ambidestra
Particularly suitable for a valgus, rigid bigties, bunectomy, hammer fingers, claw fingers, stress fractures, metatarsal injuries, lesions or soft tissue interventions.
It keeps foot, fingers and forefoot in the correct position during rehabilitation.
How to use
The Podalux II post-operative shoe allows you to adapt its rigidity. If the post-operative protocol requires a minor rigidity, remove the rigid plate for the foot.
1) Open the contact locks.
2) To remove the plate for the foot, remove the slab, remove the plate for the foot and reposition the insole.
3) Insert the foot into the shoe.
4) Close contact closing straps starting from the distal strap, continuing with proximal strap.
5) Test the shoe by walking for a short distance and adjust the closing clamps again if necessary.
If the straps for closing the shoe are too short or you do not reach a correct adherence, use the removable belt. Place the removable belt on the top of the shoe and make the closing belts adhere. In the package there is also a short sock for the protection of the forefoot. Do not fix the closing belts on the sock.
Maintenance
Wash in cold water with neutral soap and thoroughly rinse. Dry to air. Do not dry or bleach.
