Diosmectalgo
Description
Medical device, a suspension ready to drink in single-dose sachets for oral administration.
Diosmectgo is suitable for:
- The treatment of acute diarrhea in adults and children over the age of 8 years old. In children, to avoid dehydration, the treatment of acute diarrhea must be accompanied by the administration of rehydrating oral solutions;
- The treatment of chronic diarrhea or abdominal pain in adults.
The main component of Diosmectalgo is diosmectite.
Diosmectite is a natural clay that helps to block and treat diarrhea and alleviate abdominal pain.
It has been shown that:
- binds to toxins and germs and helps eliminate them from the body;
- Protects the intestinal tract and helps repair intestinal damage.
Diosmectite provides effective relief and reduces symptoms associated with diarrhea, as shown by clinical trials.
How to use
Suspension ready to drink indicated for the treatment of acute diarrhea in adults and children over the age of 8.
Adults and children over 15 years: 2 sachets to get started, followed by 1 sachet each soft evacuation, up to 6 sachets a day.
Children (from 8 to 15 years): 2 sachets to get started, followed by 1 sachet every soft evacuation, up to 4 sachets a day.
To be released the liquids due to diarrhea and to prevent dehydration, an oral rehydrating solution (ORS) must be taken.
You can use Diosmectalgo for up to 3 days. If diarrhea persists for more than 3 days, consult your doctor.
Treatment of chronic diarrhea or abdominal pain in adults. Up to 3 sachets a day. Without a medical advice you can use Diosmectalgo only for a maximum of 2 weeks.
Components
Lemon-mint aroma, xanthan rubber, sodium benzoate, hydrochloric acid, potassium sorbate, sucralose, purified water.
Warnings
Don't take Diosmectalgo:
• if it is allergic to diosmectite or any of the other components;
• If it is for a child under the age of 8 with acute diarrhea;
• If it is for a child with chronic diarrhea or abdominal pain.
Do not try to treat symptoms alone and quickly consult a doctor if:
• Diarrhea is accompanied by high temperature, chills or repeated vomiting;
• we have signs of dehydration (very thirsty, dry language, tiredness and loss of persistent appetite);
• The faeces contain blood or mucus;
• Diarrhea is accompanied by sudden weight loss;
• Diarrhea occurs during or after treatment with antibiotics;
• suffers from notes of notes or is currently subjected to a treatment that suppresses the body's immune system (immunosuppressive treatment or cancer treatment);
• If you returned recently from a trip to a tropical country.
Do not continue to treat its diarrhea and consult your doctor if:
• I do not improve or worse after the recommended treatment of treatment;
