Before running the test move the glucometer and reactive strips to a cooler and dry place and wait for the surface of the instrument to dry. - Do not open the reactive strip bottle until you are ready to take a strip and run a test. Use the reactive strip immediately after extracting it from the bottle, especially if you are in environments with high humidity.
- Securely close the bottle immediately after use, to avoid contamination or damage. Store unused reactive strips exclusively in their original bottle. - Don't put the reactive strip in the bottle after running a test.
- Do not reuse a reactive strip on which blood or control solution has been applied. The reactive strips are exclusively disposable.
