Functional disorders of the prostate, especially at the expense of the nervous and fibromuscular tissue, represent a phenomenon found in pathologies of urological interest ( benign prostatic hyperplasia and chronic prostatitis) primarily supported by phenomena of neuro district inflammation and localized oxidative stress. On the cellular level the hyper-reactivity of the mastocyte, immune cell able to respond to hormonal, bacterial and traumatic stimuli, is responsible for peripheral sensitization ( pelvic pain) and edematose and hyperplastic phenomena, typical of chronic prostatitis and benign prostatic hyperplasia. The chronicity of the peripheral neuro-inflammatory process is a strongly accident factor on the reactivity of the spinal microglia, whose activation amplifies the algic sensation perceived by the patient (central sensitization).
Pelviprost is to be used under medical control, for the diet of individuals with disorders sustained by neuroinflammatory processes.
