PONTEFIX
Description
Provisional fixing of bridges, crowns, pin teeth and capsules made with all kinds of material, on prepared teeth and plants. For simplicity in the instructions the word capsule is used to indicate all the elements for which you need to use Pontefix. The original formula of Pontefix made possible the use of zinc oxide for temporary fixing.
- Pontefix maintains the characteristics of a definitive fixing.
- Pontefix does not harm the capsules in any case.
- Pontefix does not affect the dentist's subsequent definitive intervention.
- The product is disposable.
Mode of use
Carefully remove any material residues within the capsule using a pointed object. Successively complete cleaning with cotton hydrophilic soaked alcohol.
Place the cotton roll between the gum and the cheek, near the tooth or plant on which the fixing must be carried out.
Check the right direction of the capsule to place it directly on the tooth.
Open the dust jar and add all the liquid contained in the monodose vial.
Mix with the spatula until you get a homogeneous compound (about 20/30 seconds).
Attention: the mixture hardens in about 2 minutes; therefore it is necessary to proceed quickly.
To use the product in high temperature conditions (superior at 28 °C-30 °C) it is recommended to mix the components in a cool place and shade as it could harden faster.
Using the spatula fill in half the capsule with the compound. (In case of detachment of a moncone pin (Corona Richmond), the compound should be applied directly to the pin.
Insert the capsule on the tooth in correct position.
Remove the cotton roll previously inserted between the cheek and the gum and put it above the fixed capsule.
Close your teeth for about five minutes.
When fastened, eliminate the excess of compound out of the capsule.
Warnings
Despite the excellent resistance, Pontefix does not eliminate the causes that caused the detachment of the prosthesis. If the problem persists, it is recommended to address your dentist.
The contained compound is sufficient to fix from one to four capsules simultaneously.
Conservation
Store in a cool and dry place.
