Proctoial
GEL RECTIVE
Description
Medical device containing high molecular weight hyaluronic acid, MSM and tea tree oil formulated in a fresh gel and aimed at applying on the rectal mucosa.
It is indicated in ano-rectal repair processes as in the case of hemorrhoids and anal spiders.
Hyaluronic acid is a polysaccharide consisting of un ramified chain glycosaminoglycans widely present in the connective tissue and plays an important role in tissue repair, as it accelerates and modulates the processes of reepitelization resulting in lesions of different origin reprising the tone and elasticity of tissues.
MSM is a natural substance present both in plants and physiologically in the human organism, equipped with antioxidant power and able to improve the effects of hyaluronic acid.
The tree tea oil (essential oil of Melaleuca alternifolia) helps protect the product by favoring the effects of hyaluronic acid.
Proctoial has been formulated using a hydrocellulose and copolymeric matrix to promote high bio-adhesion to the rectal mucosa, thus creating an effective protective barrier of the loose and infiamamta area. The hyaluronic acid contained in Proctoial also carries out a lube action that reduces the risk of irritation, burning itching and therefore the formation of rubbing lesions that acute pathology.
Mode of use
Unscrew the cap, break the safety seal with the rear-top and screw the endo-rectal cannula, fitted with protective cap, on the neck of the tube itself. Remove the cap and squeeze until filling the cannula by bringing out a small amount of product to maze the cannula.
Gently insert the cannula into the rectum. Spray the pipe again until a sufficient quantity of product is introduced. Apply Proctoial also on the outside area.
After use, carefully clean the cannula and cover it with the hood.
Apply Proctoial from two to three times a day and when possible after each evacuation. Continue the application for 1-2 weeks until the disappearance of symptomatology.
Components
Aqua, sorbitol, propylene glycol, glycerin, hydroxyethylcellulose, methylsylfonylmethane (MSM), benzyl alcohol, sodium hyaluronate, PVM/MA copolymer, tea tree oil (Melaleuca alternifolia oil), phenoxyethanol, methylparaben, ethylparaben, propylparaben, butylparadium.
Warnings
Do not use your medical device after the expiry date shown on the package.
Do not use the device if the external packaging or safety seal is damaged at first use.
The use, especially if prolonged, of products for topical use, can give rise to phenomena of sensitivity. In this case it is necessary to stop treatment and consult the doctor to establish suitable therapy.
If bleeding, consult your doctor before using any treatment.
If after treatment symptoms persist consult your doctor.
Avoid promiscuous use.
The use of the product is allowed only in adult subjects.
Keep out of reach of children.
It is recommended to conduct an accurate washing of the affected areas before the application.
After the application it is recommended to avoid evacuation for at least 20-30 minutes not to cause an early removal of Proctoial. In the impossibility it is recommended to repeat the application after the evacuation and careful washing of the interested parties.
There are no known interactions between Proctoial and medications normally used in hemorrhoids therapy or anal ragades.
Contraindicated in cases of individual hypersensitivity ascertained towards the present components.
Since complete data is not available, the product is not recommended during pregnancy except in cases of actual need and under direct control of the attending physician.
Conservation
Store at room temperature.
