Description
Food supplement based on serenoa, pumpkin seeds, beta-sitosterols, vitamin E, zinc, lycopene and selenium that coadjuves the normal trophism and the physiological functionality of the prostate gland.
The main component of Prostavir is the Serenoa repens (also called palmetto) which has an imposing literature but above all a practice of multi-year use. The main action of serenoa is to inhibit the transformation of Testosterone in Dihydrotestosterone which is responsible for the hyperplasia and hypertrophy of prostate gland cells. This activity is carried out through the inhibition of the enzyme 5-Alfa Reduttasi.
The synergistic action at serenoa has the extracts of pumpkin seeds other component of the Prostavir. The dosage in dry extract is 150 mg. Another component of the Prostavir are the beta-sitosterols extracted from the sea pine. These components act directly on the prostate parenchymology both in terms of frequency of urinations and on the urinary volume. To these active ingredients, it combines a pool of antioxidants such as vitamin E, lycopene, zinc and selenium.

Stabilizer: calcium phosphates; serenoa (Serenoa repens Baill.) fruit e.s. 50% in fatty acids, pumpkin (Cucurbita maxima Duchesne) seeds e.s. D/E 4:1, beta-sitosteroli to 75% by bark of sea pine (Pinus pinaster Aiton); charge agent: cellulose; maltodextrin, lycopene, vitamin E acetate (DL-alpha-tocopherle acetate); anti-agglomerating agent: magnesium salts of fatty acids; zinc sulphate, L-selenium methionine.

Mode of use
It is recommended to take 2 tablets daily in the attack phase and 1 tablet daily during maintenance.
It can be useful to associate a treatment with Vigordem.
Warnings
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Keep out of reach of children under 3 years of age. Supplements should not be understood as substitutes for a varied diet. For pregnant or breastfeeding women and children it is recommended to feel the medical advice.
