DESCRIPTION:
Seresto antiparasitic collar for cats is indicated for the treatment and prevention of infestation from fleas (Ctenocephalides felis) for 7-8 months and ticks
Protects the environment around the animal from developing flea larvae for 10 weeks. Seresto can be used as part of a treatment strategy for controlling the Allergic Dermatitis from Pulci (DAP).
The product has for 8 months a persistent acaricidal efficacy (low) (Ixodes ricinus, Rhipicephalus turanicus ) and a repellent efficacy (anti-feeding) against tick infestations (Ixodes ricinus ).
The product is effective against larvae, nymphs and adult ticks.
Ticks already present on the cat before treatment may not be killed within 48 hours after applying the collar and remain attached and visible. It is therefore recommended to remove the ticks already present on the cat at the time of application.
Prevention of new ticks infestations begins within two days after the application of the collar.
