Description
Chlorhexidine-based toothpaste 0.20%.
It is a delicate gel on the gums, antiplate adjuvant, which ensures complete oral hygiene by inhibiting the development of bacteria that form the plaque.
The plaque consists of millions of bacteria that cause fermentation of food residues, thus producing acids that affect the dental enamel and cause caries.
An undesirable consequence of the formation of the bacterial plaque is the gum, characterized by redness and bleeding of the gums.
If neglected, the gums can degenerate into parodontitis: a retraction of the gums that, in extreme cases, can lead to the loss of teeth.
Chlorhexidine can determine pigmentations on the tooth surface, easily removable at the dental office.
