Description
Sterilpeg is a medical device in powder for extemporaneous oral suspension, useful in treating stypsis.
Particularly indicated in chronic constipation and occasionally irregular bowel cases.
You can use Sterilpeg from 6 months of age.
Ingredients
A whole dose contains: 10 g Macrogol 3350, divided into 2 sachets of 5 g each (half dose).
Without gluten.
Without lactose.
Mode of use
Dissolve the contents of 1 whole sachet (10 g) in about 125 ml (a glass) of ungased water, mixing well.
Increase to 150 ml in pediatric age.
Drink the solution so reconstituted.
The half dose (5 g) can be dissolved in about half a glass of non-gassed water (62.5 ml).
It is recommended to take STERILPEG away from meals.
From 6 months to 2 years (up to 12 kg): half-bag content (5 g) 1 or 2 times a day.
From 2 to 11 years (from 12 kg to 20 kg): the contents of a whole bag (10 g) 1 or 2 times a day.
Over 11 years (or >20 kg) and adults: the contents of a whole bag (10 g) from 1 to 3 times a day.
Warnings
You can split the daily dose into multiple administrations.
The dose may be increased or decreased depending on the individual response to treatment. It is recommended in any case to feel the advice of the doctor.
Use the product in children under pediatric age only after medical advice. Take Sterilpeg preferably away from meals.
Use is not recommended in children under 6 months of age. Keep out of reach of children under 3 years of age in order to avoid accidental intake of the product.
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
Supplements should not be understood as substitutes for a varied and balanced diet and healthy lifestyle.
