Description
50% urea cream lipostabilized. It is a keratolytic and exfoliating treatment for localized skin thickenings, facilitating the subsequent mechanical removal. It does not grease and absorbs quickly. Its innovative formula provides refreshing and emollient action. The uretha is an organic compound that is used by topical means can have, depending on the concentration of use, moisturizing or keratolytic effect. The moisturizing effect is achieved by using low concentrations and is due to an increase in water binding sites at the level of the corneo layer and a reduction in the trans-epidermal dispersion of water. The cheratoriductive and keratolytic effect is obtained instead at higher concentrations (30-50%) and the mechanism seems to be the alteration, by breaking hydrogen bonds, of the keratin structure of the corneo layer. The uretha is thus able to denaturate and disperse the keratin and to thin the horny layer without damaging the skin barrier.
Mode of use
Apply 1 or 2 times a day after cleaning the area to be treated.
