Folate is of fundamental importance for the conversion of homocysteine to methionine.
Reductase Metiltetraidrophosate (MTFHR) is the limiting enzyme in the methyl cycle that catalyzes the only biochemical reaction that produces 5-methyltetrahydrofolate (Quatrefolic), useful for reducing plasma levels of homocysteine.
MTHFR C677T is a common mutation of MTFHR with reduced catalytic activity, which involves high plasma levels of homocysteine, a common risk factor for cardiovascular disorders. In a recent metaanalysis (published in June 2017) it was observed as patients with MTFHR C677T mutation have a greater risk of 30% developing hischemic stroke.

Fish oil titled in docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), extra virgin olive oil (Olea europa L., fruit), food jelly (in ingredient capsule), homotaurine, coating agents: hydroxy-propyl-methylcellulose, gulliac; anti-agglomerating agents: silicon dioxide; antioxidant: DL-alpha-tocopherol; stabilizer: glycerol; extracyan black blueberry (Vaccinium myrtillus L., dry extract; dyes: iron oxide, titanium dioxide; quatrefolic [Acido (6S)-5-metiltetraidrofolico, sale di glucosamina].
