Description
Probiotic food supplement that promotes the balance of intestinal flora.
VSL3 is a mixture of lactic bacteria and live and lyophilized bifidobacteria. Eight different strains of bacteria were selected, cultivated in specific crop soils and then mixed in proportions to optimize the functionality of the product.
Each capsule contains 112 billion vital bacterial cells.
Ingredients
Maltose; mixture of lactic bacteria and live bifidobacteria: Streptococcus thermophilus BT1, Bifidobacterium short BB02, Bifidobacterium longum* BL03, Bifidobacterium infantis* BI04, Lactobacillus acidophilus BA05, Lactobacillus plantarum BP06, Lactobacillus paracasei BP07, Lactobacillus delbrueckii subsp. Bulgarian** BD08; hydroxypropylmethylcellulose capsule, corn starch; anti-agglomerating agents: magnesium stearate, stearic acid, silicon dioxide; charge agent: microcrystalline cellulose.
Without synthetic dyes and sweeteners.
Does not contain allergens of soy neither protein of milk.
*Recently reclassified as Bifidobacterium animalis subsp. lactis.
**Recently reclassified as Lactobacillus helveticus.
Without gluten and without lactose.
Mode of use
The recommended dose is 1-2 capsules per day. For the correct dosage in children consult your doctor.
Warnings
Keep out of reach of children under three years of age. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. The product, as a dietary supplement, should not be understood as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
The product contains live lactic bacteria and bifidobacteria, heat-sensitive: it is therefore recommended to avoid exposure to heat sources or thermal shocks, to keep it in a dry place, sheltered from light and at refrigerated temperature.
There are no side effects due to ingestion. In some cases, you may experience abdominal swelling in the first days of taking the product, especially if the diet is rich in carbohydrates and fats. This effect is transitory.
Conservation
It must be kept at refrigerated temperature (2°-8°C) and protected from light.
The product can still be stored for a week at room temperature (maximum: 25°C) without significant alterations in the number of vital bacteria. The minimum term of storage indicated on the packaging refers to the correctly preserved product, in whole packaging.
