In a study conducted on 75 pediatric patients with recurrent affections of the high respiratory tract, the efficacy of hyaluronate sodium nebulizations was assessed, a moistening agent obtained from the reaction between hyaluronic acid and sodium.
Administered in association with a saline solution, the nebulized has proven to be able to induce improvements in the different clinical parameters considered, compared to the treatment with the only saline solution.
The proposal IBSA to the use of hyaluronic acid by aerosolic way within the nasal cavities is represented by Yabro, a medical device containing a sterile isotonic solution of salt of hyaluronic acid to 0.3%.
Periodic nebulizations with hyaluronic acid facilitate the removal of allergens and the restoration of mucocylian clearance, fundamental for the health of the respiratory system, especially in the post-operative phase of endonasal interventions.
