Description
Kit containing 4 medical devices bearing CE marking (Isonebial bottle, Spray-sol, cannula needle and Luer-Lock syringe). The isotonic solution to 0.9%, with addition of ectoin contained in Isonebial bottles is useful for daily cleaning of nasal cavities, especially in case of a closed or dry nose. It softens the mucus by favoring its elimination and restores a proper degree of hydration of dry or intersected nasal mucosa, improving breathing. The ectoin contained in Isonebial, thanks to its high ability to bind water molecules, has a protective effect and a moisturizing action that gives relief to the irritated mucosa. Isonebial kit allows the nebulization of the isotonic saline solution to 0.9% through the Spray-sol medical device (exclusive license patent Steve Jones srl).
Isonebial kit is suitable for daily cleaning of nasal cavities. The solution contained in monodose bottles can be administered via Spray-sol or even with aerosol therapy. Spray-sol is a medical device specifically designed to perform topical treatments of nasal and sinus cavities and allows rapid administration of the solution through nebulization in particles of magnitude between 10 and 20 microns, suitable for treating higher airways. Thanks to its specially designed shape, it adapts ergonomically to the baby's nostril, but it can also be used by the adult.
Mode of use
To use Isonebial kit correctly you need:
- detach a single-dose bottle and heat it between the hands before administering the solution;
- open the bottle by turning the hood, connect it to the syringe included in the package and aspire the solution to nebulize;
- screw the syringe, filled with the solution to nebulize, to the specific spray spray spray nozzle;
- in infants and small children (under 3 years is however according to the level of collaboration) it is necessary to carry out washing in position lying on one side, holding the head reclined on one side and inserting gently Spray-sol in the upper nostril. Push on the syringe piston to nebulize the solution;
- in older children and adults, keep the bust forward with the head slightly tilted on one side and insert Spray-sol in the upper nostril. Push on the syringe piston to nebulize the solution;
- repeat the same operations for the other nostril, trying to equally divide the solution contained in the syringe between the two nostrils;
- before storing the device rinse the syringe under the running water and wash Spray-sol.
At the end of each use wash the Spray-sol nebulizer under the current water, with the possible addition of a neutral soap drop (not abrasive). Before cleaning it, dry it with a soft cloth. Rinse, then, body and piston of the syringe under running water and dry them thoroughly before reassembling the syringe.
It is advisable to comply with the following frequency of use:
- milking: instill some drops in each nostril, several times a day, usually before the stern or before sleeping;
- children and adults: 1-3 nostril washes, several times a day.
