Description
Sterile solution for ophthalmic use at physiological pH based on reticulated hyaluronic acid with urea, so as to increase and improve the natural mechanical properties of hyaluronic acid, making it able to resist longer to degradation by hyaluronidasis than natural hyaluronic acid. The reticulated structure that hyaluronic acid forms offers hydration and is able to hold long water molecules so as to improve the intrinsic lubricating properties of hyaluronic acid while increasing its moisturizing action is indicated as adjuvant in dry eye syndrome. Reticulated hyaluronic acid is also effective in countering free radicals and exercising a reepitelizing action for greater protection of the corneal surface. The reticulated hyaluronic acid gives the product lubricating, moisturizing and repairing properties; it is also able to relieve eye dryness due to dry eye syndrome and give relief in case of fatigue or eye irritation determined by inflammatory processes or environmental conditions. Eumill DRYREPAIR relieves redness, dryness, fatigue and eye discomfort caused by dry eye syndrome, environmental factors such as wind, smoke, pollution, prolonged exposure to sunlight, salsedine, sea water or pool, study or intensive work, prolonged use of the computer, long driving periods, lacrimation problems generated by inflammatory processes, eye surgery or eyelid and eyelid cosmetic surgery. Hydrate and lubricate the cornea and conjunctiva in case of eye dryness due to the use of contact lenses. This formula has been developed to give maximum comfort from the first moments after the application. It is suitable for daily use both day and night. It does not contain preservatives and/or molecules with anti-inflammatory or vaso-constrictor action.
Eumill DRYREPAIR is indicated for:
- To restore and improve the stability of the lacrimal film in case of dry eye syndrome;
- Following refractive surgery;
- To relieve the eyes in case of redness, fatigue and eye discomfort or eye mucosa due to:
- environmental factors (air conditioning, excessive exposure to sunlight, wind, smoke, pollution, sea or pool water and salsedine);
- eye dryness following excessive fatigue due to: study, computer work for long periods;
- abnormal tearing following chronic inflammation and blefaritis;
- abnormal tearing following eye surgery of various nature or eyelid cosmetic surgery;
- use of soft or semi-rigid contact lenses.
It contains no preservatives.
Mode of use
Wash your hands thoroughly. After opening the protective envelope:
Separate a single-dose bottle from the bar consisting of 5 containers. Rotate the fin and extract the closing cap that can be used to close the container. Place a slight pressure on the body of the single-dose bottle and instill 2/3 drops in each eye whenever necessary.
Components
Sodium hyaluronate reticulated in aqueous solution (of which sodium hyaluronate reticulate 0.4%), Trometamol, Hydrochloric Acid 2N, Sodium Chloride, Water for injectable preparations.
Warnings
The product can only be used by a person. The product is only for ophthalmic use. Do not use the product if the aluminum envelope should be damaged or if the single-dose bottle is not perfectly closed. During the application, do not touch the eye and no other surface with the tip of the monodose. Due to its viscosity characteristic, immediately after instillation you can experience a slightly blurred vision that disappears quickly. Contraindicated in subjects with hypersensitivity problems towards any component of the preparation. In case of problems during treatment, stop using it and consult a doctor. Do not use the product beyond the expiration date shown on the packaging and on the monodose. Dispose of the bottles used according to local waste management regulations. Keep out of reach and sight of children.
Conservation
Store between 2 °C and 30°C, in a dry place away from heat sources and direct exposure to sunlight.
After use close the monodose immediately: the content can be reused within 12 hours of the first opening.
Format
Pack containing 2 sachets of 5 monodose each. 0.5 ml single-dose container equivalent to about 10 drops.
