Directions:
wide-spectrum disinfectant for skin disinfection and hygiene in infectious risk departments.
Antiseptic-antibacterial to be used in the following cases:
- preparation of the operating field;
- disinfection of the skin before injective therapy;
- use as an antiseptic-microbicida in medical clinics.

How to use:
is used pure or diluted up to 50%. It applies directly to the affected area with a cotton ball or with a gauze pad.

Features:
the spectrum of action is very wide and includes positive Gram and negative Gram bacteria, acidic and acid-resistant bacteria, micetes (including Candida), protozoa, virus and spore.
Its activity is maintained in the presence of organic materials. There are no resistance phenomena.
PVP-I contains 10% of free iodine available which is gradually released from the complex as a result of contact with the substrate. Antisepsis is explicated by free iodine with a direct and persistent oxidizing action.
Light solution of dark colour, foam for agitation. Odor characteristic of iodine; pH 4.5 ± 0.5, water soluble in all reports. Specific weight: 1,00-1,05.
Medical-Chirurgical Presidium.
The product is well tolerated locally even after treatments for several days.
Available in polyethylene bottles of 125, 250, 500, 1000, 5000 ml.

Toxicity:
tests on healthy skin: patch tests do not cause any reaction after 96 hours of contact; 2 weeks of repeated tests did not detect intolerability phenomena even after 48 hours of contact.
Absence of systemic effects, this shows that the product is devoid of systemic action and therefore is to exclusive local action.

Contraindications:
allergy to iodine.

Warnings:
only for external use, do not ingest.
Keep away from the reach of children.
Not to be used on smooth and mucous skin.
Avoid contact with eyes. In case of contact rinse thoroughly with water.
Do not simultaneously use soaps or solutions/pots containing mercury.
In case of accident or malaise consult the doctor (if possible show him the label).
Do not disperse the container in the environment after use.
Store the product in the original packaging in a fresh, clean and dry environment, sheltered from high heat sources and not exposed to direct sunlight. Store the container well closed and away from food, food and drink. Do not reuse the container.
The validity period (36 months) refers to the product in its intact and properly preserved container.
Disposal in accordance with local waste legislation.

Components:
100 ml of solution contain:
polyvinylpyrrolidone iodine g.10.0 (equivalent to 1.0% iodine); coformulated; purified water q.b. 100ml.
