AGPEG PLUS ESSE
Description
Agpeg plus they are a medical device to be taken to obtain effective cleansing of the intestine. The removal of solid residues in the colon is fundamental in the preparation of endoscopic, radiological and ecological examinations for an accurate diagnosis.
Mechanism of action: Agpeg plus they contain macrogol 3350, an inert substance that is not absorbed, does not irritate the mucosa, does not ferment and is eliminated in unmodified form. Thanks to its affinity for water, it recalls a high amount of liquids in the intestinal compartment, hydrating the fecal mass and stimulating peristalsis.
It also contains symeticons that, thanks to its antischiumogenous action, it is effective in the absorption of gastrointestinal gas associated with stypsis.
Components
Macrogol 3350 and symeticons. Excipients: silicon dioxide, aroma, sodium saccharin.
Without gluten.
Warnings
Contraindications
Do not hire the product in case of:
- hypersensitivity known to the product
- intestinal stenosis
- dynamic
- acute or severe colitis
- toxic megacolons
- intestinal drilling
- gastric stasis
- inflammatory diseases of the intestine (such as Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis)
- patients weighing less than 20 kg or under 2 years of age
Pregnancy and nursing
There are no experiences on taking during pregnancy and nursing. The product should only be taken on medical advice.
Interactions
The product can reduce the time of stay in the intestine and therefore the absorption of drugs administered simultaneously by mouth. Avoid ingesting them together: after taking a medicine let spend a range of at least 2 hours before taking Agpeg plus them. If you are taking anticoagulants, anti-aggregants or diabetes medications, consult your physician or endoscopy center for a possible variation of posology.
Oral suspension must be prepared when taking. In case it is not ingested immediately, the suspension must be kept in the refrigerator and still used within 24 hours of its preparation. Do not add other ingredients to the reconstituted suspension. Symeticons can interfere with the effect of some reagents used in diagnostics, such as sheath rubber.
Conservation
Keep away from the reach of children. Do not use the device after the expiry date indicated on the package (the expiry date is on the envelopes and on the box). Do not use open or damaged bags. Do not store at temperature above 25°C.
Validity of whole packaging: 36 months.
