Launched in 1987, it combined patient comfort with the revolutionary three-layer fluid management system that allows wound healing in a humid environment.
Allevyn Non-Adhesive has resisted the test of time and continues to be essential for patients and doctors worldwide.
• The exclusive triple action technology handles fluids effectively, creating a damp environment for wound healing.
Highly breathable upper film minimises the risk of maceration of wound and perilesional skin.
• The non-adherent contact layer makes the dressing suitable for use on the fragile and sensitive skin, including that of wounds from bollous epidermolysis.
• Soft and comfortable for the patient adapts to the various areas of the body.
• Conformed Medication for the heel, designed to fit this uncomfortable area.
• Easy to apply and remove.
• Provides effective barrier function for exogenous bacteria, as well as help prevent exodus leaks and bacteria.
• Wide range of formats that can be cut to fit them to different contours of the body.
• Suitable for use under the compressed bandage.
• The product can contribute to a pressure reduction protocol, used according to prophylaxis.
• Allevyn Non-Adhesive medications are indicated for management for the second intention of:
- surface injuries, granules;
- chronic and acute exudatory wounds;
- wounds of total or partial thickness such as: pressure ulcers, lower limb ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers;
- tumor lesions;
- surgical wounds;
- burns of first and second degree;
- withdrawal sites;
- hyperproliferant skin ulcers;
- oncological lesions;
- bollous epidermolysis wounds.
The product can be used on infected wounds.
If the product is used on infected wounds, the infection must be monitored and treated as a local clinical protocol.
