First aid Allevyn sacrum 22.5x22,1 10pz
Allevyn Sacrum
ADDITIONAL ADMINISTRATIVE MEDICATION FOR SACRAL AREASDirections:
exudatory wounds in the way of granulation in the sacral zone, which heal for second intention.
It can be used together with Intrasite Gel in the case of wounds with necrosis or slough.
How to use:
prepare and cleanse the skin around the wound.
Remove the protective film and fix the dressing on the wound. Press gently and make sure the edges are well adhered to the perilesional skin.
Have the agreeability to place them at a distance of at least 2 cm from the anal sphincter and then join the dressing up to the sacral area.
At the beginning of the treatment, check with greater frequency. The dressing can be left on the wound up to 5 days in relation to the exudate level.
To remove the medications, lift one side and remove them carefully. The dressing should be removed from the top to the anus to avoid the risk of transmission of infections.
To facilitate the removal of adhesive medications it is possible to use sterile water, saline solution.
Features:
designed to adapt anatomically to the sacral area allowing easier management of decubital ulcers. Clinical evidence shows that:
- guarantees a faster and cheaper healing than a hydrocolloid,
- best quality of patient life.
It has a tristratified structure, consisting of a direct contact layer with the wound, a soft and particularly absorbent hydrocellular central layer and finally an external waterproof film, which allows to create a real bacterial barrier.
Warnings:
do not apply in combination with oxidizing agents such as hypochlorite or hydrogen peroxide solutions, since these products are likely to damage the hydrocellular layer.
As with other adhesion medications, an excessive sensitivity to Allevyn Sacrum was rarely reported, in the form of irritation and/or maceration of the skin around the wound. Only rarely has an excessive sensitivity to the dressing itself been reported. It should be noted that the incorrect application or too frequent replacements of the dressing, especially in the case of patients whose skin has proved excessively sensitive, could cause damage. In case of redness or excessive awareness, stop treatment immediately and consult a doctor.
