First aid Biatain super ades 10x10 10pz
Biatain Super
Medical device CE, class III, disposable.Adhesive hydrocapillary medication. It does not contain phthalates.
Sterile over absorbent adhesive medication for injury from medium to highly exudatory composed of a high absorption hydrocapillary buffer, bounded by a hydrocolloidal adhesive that, in addition to fixing the dressing to the perilesional skin prevents maceration.
The swab also has a non-adherent polyethylene (HDPE) reticulate as an interface with the lesion bed. HDPE acts so as to maintain the proper degree of moisture of the injury (wet but not wet) and avoids the adherence between the surface of the dressing and the bed of injury.
The hydrocapillary buffer consists of polyethylene, cellulose fibres (CMC) and SAP (Super Absorbent particles in sodium polyacrylate polymers). The “hydrocapillary” effect is given by the instantaneous, vertical and horizontal absorption of the exudate. In fact, cellulose and SAP polymers, in contact with the exudate released from the lesion, change phase by freezing, so as to retain the exudate inside the buffer even under compression.
The outer layer of high oxygen permeability polyurethane films creates a barrier to external exogenous and polluting bacteria and ensures high breathability.
Indications
Acute and chronic skin lesions, from medium to highly exudatory.
Average stay time (average injuries and ulcers to highly exudatory): 3 days.
Maximum time of stay on site: 7 days.
Contraindications and incompatibility
In case of allergic reactions, please contact Coloplast for information on components. Biatain medications and secondary medicines must be removed before radioactive treatment (X-rays, ultrasound treatment, diathermia and microwave). Do not use Biatain medications with oxidizing solutions such as hypochlorite and oxygenated water.
Composition
Cellulose fibres (CMC), polyethylene tephthalate silicone (HDPE), sodium polyacrylate, thermoplastic elastomer, dioctyl adipato (DOA), hypoallergenic hydrocolloidal layer, microporous layer in TNT, back consisting of polyurethane film.
