Description

Lubricating and moistening ophthalmic gel containing 0.2% of Carbomer. Useful to relieve symptoms of dryness and eye irritation caused by a reduced lacrimal flow. Thanks to the muco-adhesive properties of Carbomer, it reduces the symptoms derived from the instability of the lacrimal film. Suitable for people who experience sensation of dryness, fatigue or irritation to the eyes caused by irritative phenomena (dust, air conditioning, wind, smoke, prolonged use of videoterminals). Viscous transparent gel that emerges from the container in the form of drops.
Mode of use
Wash your hands. Unscrew the pipe cap. Tilt the head backwards and look upwards. Gently lower with the fingers of a hand the lower eyelid of the eye to form a pocket. Hold with the other hand the tube in vertical position to favor the formation of a small drop. Instill the drop in an eye without touching it with the end of the tube and gently clean the excess of product from the edge of the eye. Keep your eye closed for 1-2 minutes. Screw the pipe cap, paying attention not to touch the pipe with any other surface (including eyes or fingers). Instill a drop in the joint sack 3-4 times a day, that is according to need.
Components
Carbomer 0.2%, Cetrimide, Sorbitol, Sodium Hydroxide, Sodium Edetate, Distilled Water.
Warnings
The product is only for ophthalmic use. The use of Collirio Alfa Lubrificante e Umettante Gel is contraindicated in the case of allergy to any of the components. The product should not be used with contact lenses. After instilling Collirio Alfa Lubrificante e Umettante Gel wait at least 30 minutes before applying contact lenses again. If you need concomitant eye treatments, wait about 10 minutes and still leave Collirio Alfa Lubrificante e Umettante Gel as the last treatment to use. After the instillation of the product you could experience a temporary burning, eyelid secretion and blurred vision. Make sure to see clearly before driving, using machinery or doing other jobs that might be dangerous if you are unable to see correctly. The validity period refers to the intact and correctly preserved product. Do not use if the container appears damaged. Keep out of reach of children.
Conservation
Store at temperature between 5°C and 30°C.
Valid after the first opening: 28 days.
