Description
Food for special medical purposes indicated for the dietary management of hyperomocysteinemia.
The introduction of folic acid and vitamins B2, B6, B12 decreases the plasma value of homocysteine, reporting it to the recommended reference values.
The L5-MTHF, biologically active form of folic acid, is able, through the transfer of a metal group, to revert homocysteine into methionine.

Ingredients
Betaine hydrochloride; charge agents: microcrystalline cellulose, dicalcium phosphate, hydroxypropylcellulose; zinc citrate; stabilizer: mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids; antiagglomerants: silicon dioxide, magnesium salts of fatty acids; vitamin B6 (piridossina hydrochloride), vitamin B2 (riboflavina), L-5-methylfolate calcium, vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin).

Mode of use
It is recommended to take 1 tablet per day, or according to medical advice.

Warnings
The product must be used under medical control; it is not suitable for use as the only source of nutrition.
For the high intake of folate, the product is contraindicated in subjects that do not have hyperomocysteinemia.

Conservation
Store in a cool and dry place, away from heat sources.
The expiry date refers to the correctly stored product, in a package.
