Property
Rhodiola has mood modulator properties, antidepressant, adaptive. It is able to determine an increase in serotonin concentration at the brain level, increase the availability of dopamine, adrenaline, norepinephrine, anagonizing the circuits that give rise to addictions. Adaptogenic and anti-stress actions generally favour learning and memory skills. Source of flavonoids, essential to attack free radicals.
The melilotus officinalis contains some cumarines that are able to inhibit the cytochrome that metabolizes nicotine in the liver (called CYP2A6), and therefore plays a fundamental role in smoking addiction. It acts at the lymph node level with lymphokinetic effect, strongly draining. Cumarin is useful in case of problems related to veno-linphatic failure; it also stimulates the SRE (Endothelial Reticle System) and the proteolytic capabilities of macrophages, also improves the microcirculation, stabilizes the erythrocyte membrane as it can increase tissue oxygenation.
The syzygium aromaticum is an antioxidant spice, due to the fact that it contains high levels of phenolic compounds (especially eugenol). It is a neuroprotective, improves memory and has antipsychotic activities.
The nasturtium officinalis, nasturtium, alters the metabolism of nicotine, through a significant increase in glucoronidation of cotinine and trans-3’-hydroxycin. Contains vitamins A, C, E; minerals Iron, Magnesium, Copper, Zinc explicating antioxidant, immunomodulating, remineralizing.
The embodied passiflora acts as abenzodiazepine receptor agonist, inhibits monoaminooxidase, interacts with benzodiazepine-GABA and serotonin receptor sites and inhibits the captation of choline and dopamine by strengthening the gratification circuit. It has sedative and anxiolytic properties in attenuating nicotine abstinence symptoms.
The crataegus oxycantha, hawthorn, is traditionally used to protect the cardiocirculation system from smoke damage. It carries out an important activity on the cardiocirculation system.
The tormenting tilia has a sedative action at the brain level, useful especially in anxious, hyperexcitable subjects and symptoms related to the somatization of anxiety at the visceral level.
