Crataegus oxyacantha
The hawthorn has a particularly useful sedative action in the treatment of anxiety states with cardiocirculatory symptoms: arrhythmias, extrasytolia, tachycardia, hypertension. The tannins and flavonoids, responsible for the important properties of the hawthorn glycerin macerate, also act at the central nervous system level, reducing anxiety and stress states, due to insomnia and irritability.
Cedrus libani
The cedar of Lebanon is a tree used since ancient times. It has a tissue conservation action, which we can call good anti-age reason, is explanatory especially to the skin level. The budmoderivate of the cedar of Lebanon therefore fights the signs of skin aging (wrinkles, dehydrated skin, etc.); it is also of great importance on all types of dermatitis, including dry eczema and psoriasis. Thanks to its ability to regulate secretions of sebaceous glands and sweat, it is able to restore the correct parameters of the hydro-lipid epidermal film, very important for the defense of the skin from infections and for elasticity and skin hydration.
Ficus charge
In gemmotherapy, Fico is the excellent remedy for the treatment of psychosomatic pathologies to the digestive system. Adjusts gastric and intestinal motility and the production of gastric juices; is therefore a very important remedy for pathologies such as aerophagia, meteorism, gastro-esophageal reflux, iatal hernia, gastritis, irritable colon, stipsi, dysentery, etc.
Vaccinium myrtillus
The glycerinated macerate of Black Blueberry is rich in antocyanosides (the most important are the glycosides of dolphin, cyanide, petunidine and malvidine), substances with well known toning circulatory properties. In ECTO.MU we are especially interested in the ability of the anthocyanides of the Black Blueberry to increase the speed of regeneration of the retinal purple, with effect of improvement of the visual ability, night species. The Black Blueberry is therefore indicated in all eye diseases and in particular those concerning the retina. The Black Blueberry acts excellently also at the enteric level, in fact it is called “the velvet of the intestine” for its ability to reduce intestinal swelling and irregularity of evacuation.
Juglans Regia
Noce's gemmoderivate possesses antiseptic, anti-flammatory and reepitelizing properties; is therefore indicated for all skin diseases such as eczemas, acne, mycosis, impetigo, psoriasis, etc. It is also very useful in ear diseases.
Platanus Orientalis
The glycerinated macerate of Platano is of great help in the skin syndromes. Thanks to its anti-inflammatory, rejuvenating and skin draining properties, it is useful in recurring acne, seborrheic dermatitis and dry dermatitis that accompany skin dequamation (psoriase, dandruff, etc.).
Prunus Spinosa
Prugnolo's glycerinated macerate is a powerful nervous tonic, particularly indicated in case of convalescence, stress, astenia. Prugnolo’s budmoderivate acts electively on the spasms of the eye from fatigue.
Tilia Tomentosa
The glycerinated tile macerate acts in a rebalancing sense on the hypothalamus-hypophysis-surrene axis responsible for the stressogen response: production of adrenaline and norepinephrine, cortisol, etc. with activation of the sympathetic system.
