FAMILY DRUG
test
Description
Anti-drug test for urine, immunological, lateral flow, for the qualitative detection of specific drugs and their metabolites in human urine, at the following concentrations of limit threshold:
The test provides a preliminary result; you will have to employ a more specific alternative chemical method to obtain an analytical confirmation result. The preferred confirmation method is the GC/MS. Clinical consideration and professional judgement will be necessary for each result of drug testing from abuse, especially if preliminary results are positive.
Mode of use
Collection and preparation of samples
• Wash hands with neutral soap and hot water. Open the sealed package and extract the test.
• Open the container cap and urinate directly inside. The sample volume will have to exceed the minimum level of urine. Tap the container.
Test execution
The test must be at room temperature (10°C-30°C).
1. After collecting urine, stop the container and place it on a flat surface.
2. Lift the label from right to left and read the result within 5 minutes. Do not read the results over 5 minutes.
Interpretation of results
WORK (+) A pink band is visible in every control area. No coloured band appears in the test area. This indicates a positive result for the drug corresponding to that specific area.
(-) A pink band is visible in every control area in the test area. This indicates that the drug concentration corresponding to that area of the test is zero or below the test detection limit.
NULTURE If no coloured band is visible in each control zone or if it is visible only in the test zones, the test is null. You will have to carry out another test to reevaluate the sample.
There is no meaning to the intensity of the color or the width of the line.
Limits
1. This test was developed exclusively for urine samples. The performance of this test using different samples has not been demonstrated.
2. Adulterated urine samples can produce incorrect results. Strong oxidizing agents such as bleach (hypochlorite) can oxidize drug analysis. If you suspect a sample was adulterated, collect a new sample.
3. This test is a quality control. It is not designed to determine the quantitative concentration of drugs or the level of intoxication.
4. It is possible that technical or procedural errors, as well as other substances that interfere with the urine sample, cause incorrect results.
5. A negative result does not necessarily indicate drug-free urine. You can get negative results even when the drug is present but below the limit level of the test.
6. The result of the test does not distinguish between drugs from abuse and some medicines.
7. Some foods or supplements can cause positive results.
Warnings
This kit is only for external use. Don't swallow.
• Throw after use. The test cannot be used more than once.
• Do not use beyond the expiry date.
• Do not use the kit if the packaging is washed or not sealed properly.
• Keep away from the reach of children.
• Product not intended for medical diagnostic purposes.
Conservation
Store at a temperature of 4°C-30°C until the expiry date. Keep away from light, moisture and heat. Don't freeze.
Format
Package containing: a test, a dryer, an illustration leaflet.
