Description
Gerdoff is a medical device with mechanical action that quickly reduces symptoms related to gastro-esophageal reflux, such as pyrosis, epigastric pain, acid regurgitation, irritative cough, dysphony. Also useful in the symptomatic treatment of hyperacidity (sweet and occasional heartburn).
Gerdoff is an original and innovative association of Sulphate, Hyaluronic Acid and Hydroxide Aluminium. It contributes to the protective effect against the irritating action of hydrochloric acid produced by the stomach. The presentation in tablets, to be dissolved initially in the mouth, stimulates salivation that allows a better contact of the components with the esophageal wall and promotes protection and lubrication. The Condroitine Solfato, adhering to the gastro-esophageal mucosa, protects it effectively by isolating it from the attack of gastric juices. The Hyaluronic Acid, in combination with the adhesive properties of Condroitine Solfato, protects the tissue of the damaged esophagus and promotes its reintegration. Aluminium Idroxide acts as an anti-acid function, reducing the aggressiveness of gastric juices to the damaged mucosa.
Ingredients
Sulphate chondroitin, sodium salt, sucrose, hydroxide aluminum, calcium carbonate; antiagglomerants: mono-di-tri-glycerides of fatty acids, silicon dioxide, high molecular weight hyaluronate sodium; aroma; eulcorant: ammonium glycirizzinate.
Without gluten.
Without lactose and derivatives.
Mode of use
Adults and children over 12 years: 1-2 tablets after main meals and before bedtime, or need in case of appearance of symptoms such as pain and heartburn, according to medical advice.
Children over 6 years: it is recommended to use the product only after consulting your doctor. 1 tablet, after the main meals and/or before bedtime, or in case of appearance of symptoms such as pain and heartburn. In case of need, the tablet can be divided in half, by means of the prefraction line.
The tablets are initially dissolved in the mouth and then chewed. Their intake may also be followed by ingestion of water or milk.
Warnings
Prolonged use of the product, for astringent action of aluminium, can cause constipation.
Use the product in pregnancy and nursing after consulting your doctor.
The product contains aluminum, which could interfere with the contemporary intake of drugs, citrates can increase aluminum absorption.
You should not take medication 1 hour before and 2 hours after using the product and only after consulting your doctor.
Do not exceed the recommended dose.
In case of adverse reactions, stop treatment and consult your doctor.
After a short period of treatment without appreciable results, consult your doctor.
The product contains sucrose, which is taken into account in diabetic patients.
Do not use the product after the expiry date shown on the packaging.
Keep out of reach of children.
Contraindicated in cases of kidney failure, hypophosphateemia and hypersensitivity known to one of the components.

Store in a cool and dry place, away from heat sources.
