Description
Class IIa Medical Device.
GSE INTIMO LUBRIFICANTE is a vaginal gel useful in the prevention and treatment of vaginal dryness of various origin and nature and the natural healing process of microlesions of the vaginal mucosa.
Thanks to the polysaccharides of the aloe vera gel and calendula combined with hydroxyetylcellulose, it acts as a barrier creating a protective film on the vaginal mucosa.
GSE INTIMO LUBRIFICANTE maintains a proper level of hydration in tissues and gives immediate relief thanks to a soothing and lubricating action. In addition, all extracts present in the formulation favor the natural process of repairing tissues.
Thanks to the presence of lactic acid, it contributes to the maintenance and stabilization of physiological pH, favoring the well-being of the vaginal environment.
No perfumes and no dyes.
Mode of use
Check the integrity of the packaging, pipes and candles.
Clean your hands before manipulating the product. Screw the cannula to the pipe. Exercise a slight pressure on the pipe to fill the cannula, keeping a tilted position to avoid forming air bubbles. In order to avoid the resurface of the product within the tube, keep the pressure exerted and unscrew the applicator. Expel a small amount of gel from the applicator before use, so that the tip of the cannula is lubricated.
Insert the applicator so filled in the vagina, assuming a china position and keeping the knees bent. Push the plunger until all the gel has been expelled and remove the applicator from the vagina.
Throw the cannula just used because it is disposable and should not be reused. Store the pipe and the remaining cannulas well closed, in a cool and dry environment.
The frequency with which the product should be used depends on the degree of dryness of the vaginal mucosa. 1 or 2 applications per day are recommended, unless otherwise prescribed.
The product can be used during the menstrual cycle.
Components
Main ingredients (13,83%): Aloe vera gel, hydroxyethylcellulose, glycerinated extract of calendula, glycerinated extract of grapefruit seeds, lactic acid.
Other ingredients: potassium sorbate, phenoxyethanol, EDTA, purified water.
Warnings
The product is for specific vaginal use. Don't swallow.
Do not use the product if the tube and/or the reedula appear damaged or not perfectly intact at the time of the first opening.
Do not use the product after the expiry date indicated on the packaging. The expiration date refers to the correctly stored product in the packaging not open at room temperature.
Wash your hands before and after use.
Each cannula is only for single use and should not be reused. If reused, Prodeco Pharma cannot guarantee the performance, functionality or hygiene of the cannula.
Each tube GSE INTIMO LUBRIFICANTE must be used by only one patient in order to reduce the risk of transmission of infections.
Close the pipe with the appropriate cap after use. After use, dispose of packaging according to applicable national practice.
The compatibility with condoms has not been demonstrated, but the compatibility of intimate lubricants based on water and glycerol, such as GSE INTIMO LUBRIFICANTE, with condoms in natural rubber latex, polyurethane and other synthetic materials is widely accepted.
As with many similar products, avoid use before carrying out gynecological surveys.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.
The product is not intended for pediatric use.
During pregnancy or suspect pregnancy and in the case of local drug therapies, use the product only with the advice of your doctor.
In case of severe vaginal dryness, if there are no improvements within 30 days of treatment, consult a doctor.
Do not give patients with proven individual hypersensitivity to product components.
Prolonged use of the product, as for all topical products, can cause local sensitization or irritation. In this case, stop treatment and consult your doctor. As with other products used for treating vaginal dryness, it can cause white and odorless losses. Currently no known side effects attributable to GSE INTIMO LUBRIFICANTE. If an adverse reaction occurs, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Currently no known interactions with other preparations or treatments for the concomitant use of GSE INTIMO LUBRIFICANTE.
Conservation
Store at room temperature, away from light and heat sources.
Validity of whole packaging: 36 months.
Post-opening validation: six months.
