Iodofolin 2.0
Food supplement of iodine and folic acid. Iodine contributes to the normal growth of children, helps the regular cognitive functioning and the nervous system, supports the maintenance of the production of thyroid hormones and physiological thyroid function. Folic acid contributes to the growth of maternal tissues in pregnancy and normal hemopoiesi. In women in fertile age, supplementary intake of folic acid increases the state of maternal folate. A low state of the maternal folate is a risk factor for the development of neural tube defects in the fetus. Because of the amount of folic acid present, iodofolin 2.0 is indicated to supplement the diet of women in fertile age and during pregnancy. iodofolin 2.0 is also indicated for the integration of folic acid and iodine into the diet of teenagers between 11 and 17 years and during breastfeeding.

Charging agents: calcium phosphate bibasic and microcrystalline cellulose; antiagglomerants: magnesium stearate, talc and silicon dioxide (nano); folic acid; iodine (potassium ioduro).

Mode of use
1 tablet per day.
Warnings
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. The intake of the product is contraindicated in people with hypersensitivity ascertained towards the components. Keep out of reach of children under three years. Supplements should not be understood as substitutes for a varied, balanced diet and healthy lifestyle. The beneficial effect on the increase in the state of maternal folate is obtained with a daily supplemental intake of folic acid of 400 mcg for at least one month before and up to three months after conception.
