Itioxide Pet Foam
Description
Veterinary device based on ittiole and zinc oxide micronized to astringent, soothing and antiseptic action. Thanks to its barrier foam properties it protects the skin of the dog and cat from bacterial and mycotic contamination. Non-toxic foam, easy to apply, which does not create any discomfort to the animal. Useful in the treatment of dermatitis complicated by bacteria such as forunculosis, follicles, abscesses and superficial ulcers. It acts by facilitating the maturation of the suppurative skin lesions, restoring the normal skin conditions.
Property
The ittiol, thanks to the activity of sulphur, has keratoplastic properties, antiseptic, antiseborrhoic, anti-inflammatory and decongestant. Zinc oxide carries out a soothing, healing and anti-flogistic action, capable of recalling and activating cell elements responsible for healing and healing wounds.
Components
Sulphonate ammonium, malva extract, salicylic acid, essential oils of eucalyptus and lemon, chlorhexidine, rice starch, zinc oxide.
Mode of use
Distribute the foam on the whole body of the animal, in the ears or only on the parts to be treated evenly favoring the penetration. In the event that the animal is not shaved to fry it a suitable quantity of product, so that skin and fur are humid. Do not rinse and do not dry with cloths or absorbent paper. Repeat the application initially twice a day and then once a day or longer intervals in judgement of the Veterinary Doctor until complete remission. Brush before each application. Foam can be used for prophylactic purposes after each washing of the animal, in such case apply to wet fur before drying.
Warnings
For external use. Don't swallow. Keep out of reach of children. The use of topical products, especially if prolonged, can give rise to irritative phenomena or sensitization, which require discontinuation of treatment. Avoid contact with the eyes, in case this happens, rinse with running water. Danger: highly flammable aerosol. Pressure recipient: it can explode if heated. Keep away from heat/s spark/free flame/heated surfaces. Don't smoke. Do not vaporize on a free flame or other ignition source. Pressure recipient: do not pierce or burn, even after use.
Conservation
Protect from sunlight.
Do not expose at temperatures above 50°C/122°F.
